Reservation Conditions

Reservation and Contract

A reservation is considered confirmed once the guest receives written confirmation (by email or through the booking platform). The confirmation constitutes a binding contract between the guest and Estalagem Sequeira (L&L Sequeira, Lda) for the provision of accommodation services under these conditions.

Check-in and Check-out Times

  • Check-in from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Late check-in is possible, subject to an additional fee.
  • Check-out from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Guest Information

Guests are legally required to provide the following information for submission to INE (National Statistics Institute) and AIMA (Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum): full name, date of birth, nationality, country of residence and identification document (number and issuing country).

  • You are not required to provide your home address when booking.
  • Providing a phone number and email is recommended.
  • Tax identification number (NIF) is optional.

Age Policy

  • No age limit.
  • At least one guest must be 18 years or older.

Extra Beds

Extra beds are not available.

Children

  • Children are welcome.
  • Limited availability of cribs for children up to 2 years old, subject to an additional fee.
  • Children over 6 years old are considered full guests with all associated rights.

Payment Options

  • Credit cards are accepted.
  • No deposit is required.

Cancellation Policy

Standard Rate

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the day of arrival. After this deadline, the full booking amount will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rate

The full booking amount is due if cancelled after confirmation.

No-Show and Early Departure

  • If a guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the full booking amount will be charged.
  • In case of early departure, no refund will be issued for the remaining nights.

House Rules

  • Free WiFi throughout the property.
  • Free on-site parking with limited spaces.
  • Free street parking on a quiet road.
  • Smoking is not permitted.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Parties and events are not permitted.
  • Inviting third parties to stay overnight is not permitted.

Security

  • Fire alarm system in all areas, including guest rooms.
  • Fire extinguishers on every floor.
  • Exterior CCTV cameras cover the full perimeter and entrances.
  • Interior CCTV cameras are limited to the reception lobby and hallways leading to rooms.
  • Footage is stored for a legal period of 30 days.

Liability

  • The hotel is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings left in common areas or vehicles. Guests are advised to use the room safe or request the reception to store valuables.
  • Guests are liable for any damage caused to the hotel property, furnishings or equipment during their stay. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performing obligations under this agreement when caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, armed conflict, or prolonged utility failures. In such cases, the affected party shall notify the other as soon as reasonably possible.

Complaints Book

In accordance with Portuguese law (Decree-Law No. 156/2005), a complaints book (Livro de Reclamações) is available at reception upon request. Complaints may also be submitted online at: www.livroreclamacoes.pt

Mandatory Insurance

Estalagem Sequeira holds mandatory civil liability insurance as required by Portuguese legislation for accommodation establishments.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes arising from the provision of accommodation services shall be submitted to the competent courts of the district of Faro, Portugal.
